Assemble Apps from pages and components, starting from templates
The App Builder is where you assemble an App from pages and components — visually, no frontend code.
Start from a template
The builder leads with a template gallery. Starting from a working, outcome-focused App (a support desk, an inventory view, a request intake) and customizing it is faster and safer than a blank canvas. Pick a template that resembles what you want, then adapt it.
You can also start blank when you need something bespoke.
Pages
An App has one or more pages, each with its own layout. Use multiple pages to separate concerns — for example a list page and a detail page, or a dashboard and an admin page. Navigation between pages is handled for you.
Components
Drop components onto a page and arrange them:
- Data Table — a live, filterable table of records.
- Stat Card — a single headline number (count, sum, latest value).
- Chart — visualize records over a dimension.
- Form — capture input and write it back.
- Button — trigger an action (see Data & Actions).
- Text / Rich text — headings, instructions, context.
Each data-bound component (table, stat card, chart) is connected to a data source — usually one of your Data Tables — so the App reflects live data.
Configure at creation (Step 3)
When you create an App, Step 3 — Configure wires the App's tenant resources: you pick the Data Table(s) it reads from so that stat cards, tables, and charts resolve to real data immediately, rather than pointing at nothing. Getting this right up front is what makes the App useful on first load.
Theming & layout
Match your brand: set colors, add a logo, and choose layout options. The result is a polished interface you can hand to your team or customers.
